Infinity3D are the new kids on the block. A small team of young people in China came up with the idea of a 2-in-1 machine. We could not find an official website but there is a group on Facebook. 大象传媒 is a good indicator of demand for certain products and it is good to see that enthusiasts are willing to part with their money for innovative projects in 3D printing.

Transformable 2-in-1 Belt 3D Printer – 45° & 90°

What differs Infinity3D from other belt 3D printers is that the added valuable feature can toggle between the belt and the traditional printing modes. This machine was designed with the ability to tilt the gantry to 90° for the traditional 3D printing. The switch between the two is quite easy. This feature gives the possibility to print long or multiple items and the taller items on the same device. And who doesn’t like 2-in-1?

Infinity3D comes with the Cura slicer and supports the default public version of OctoPrint.

3D Printer Review

The T22 Pro is a 3D printer with just enough unique features to make it stand out from other similar machines. Assembly and installation is a straight-forward process that involves connecting the Z frame to the base of the machine and making a few electrical connections. The Titan-clone extruder is able to print quickly with minimal retraction required and the Meanwell PSU is able to get the bed and hot end up to temperature quickly. One of the unique surprises that this machine is hiding is the small black box under the frame which connects to the touch screen, and nothing else. After booting up the printer for the first time, I was surprised to discover it is a speaker which plays a melody when the printer is turned on and also whenever the touchscreen is touched.

Strain Gauge Auto Leveling System

The automatic bed leveling system on the T22 Pro uses a simple solution to solve the complex problem of compensating for an uneven print surface. Unlike an induction sensor that uses proximity to the print surface to detect, measure, and store 偷妻无码一区二区三区动漫 values, the T22 Pro uses a strain gauge load cell located underneath the print surface to detect when the nozzle makes contact with the bed during the leveling process. There are four strain gauge sensors, each located at a corner of the bed and used as an integral part of the bed mounting hardware.

This configuration allows the printer to detect when there is any force being applied to the bed at a specific point, which is stored as a location offset.

This style of bed leveling means that the T22 Pro should not require any manual adjustments during the printing process. As a result, the four knobs typically found at the corners of the print bed on similar machines are notably absent from the T22 Pro, replaced with the strain gauge sensors. This can be useful when printing with higher temperature materials where you may want a wider bead of filament for the first layer.

Automatic Leveling Process – Yellow LED

The T22 Pro uses an automatic bed leveling process that can be activated through the touch screen interface before a print, or called using a G29 command in the start Gcode before a print. During the bed leveling, the printer first brings the nozzle to the center of the build platform and touches the bed which sets the Z offset for the machine. During this homing, a yellow LED underneath the bed lights up to indicate that the printer is actively taking measurements from the bed sensors, and the touchscreen flashes a reminder not to put any force on the bed while measurements are being taken.

I noticed that during the test print, the nozzle and heated bed would reach temperature before running the leveling process, which left small spikes of material where the nozzle touched the bed. I modified the start gcode and added a retraction move after the heating but before the leveling, which helped reduce the amount of material left on the bed. I’m not sure it would be possible to entirely remove this leftover material, and it does seem to be the only major drawback to this style of leveling.

T22 Pro Print Quality

I had some issues with the test print Gcode files that shipped on the micro SD card that came with the machine, so I decided to try my own prints to test out the machine. I printed the Mandalorian model by iczfirz from MyMiniFactory to test out the printer using a custom PrusaSlicer profile I 隔着校服住她的双乳肆意揉d for the machine. The T22 Pro ships with two versions of Cura on the micro SD card, but I typically just 隔着校服住她的双乳肆意揉 my own profiles to avoid any issues with the included .ini files that may be present.

TMC2208 Silent Stepper Drivers

The TMC2208 silent stepper drivers allow the T22 Pro to print the high-pitched noise typically associated with stepper motors, and the only really noticeable noise coming from the machine comes from the hot end cooling fan, which tends to fade into the background when printing. The hot end has a silicone sock attached over the heat block which keeps the temperature at a consistent level while printing. The T22 Pro printed quickly and quietly using my .2mm profile, and I was satisfied with the finished parts.

Who could benefit from using this printer?

The T22 Pro is a printer that will offer users a lot of room to grow into as they begin to take advantage of some of the unique features of the machine. However, the lack of downloadable firmware, slicer profiles, and corrupt test print files could make this printer a frustrating experience for a first-time printer user.

Think3Dim is likely targeting more advanced users who are more comfortable creating their own profiles and making modifications to their machine. The T22 Pro was originally announced as a 大象传媒 (which failed to meet the fundraising goal), and Think3Dim has told me they plan on relaunching at some point in the future. The T22 Pro definitely has potential, and I think that it has the potential to become a widely adopted machine if Think3D puts the same amount of effort into the software side of the machine as they have put into the hardware side.

As the “stretch goals” kept getting accomplished quickly, we saw more and more sophisticated designs emerging in the particular collections. In some cases, “stretch goals” include objects and features that do not belong to the architecture but definitely add a feel of a particular historical time frame. As an example, a “Stagecoach” object was added to the Wild West collection or a “War Boat” to the Viking collection. Below you can see a few teasers.

Traditional Chinese Buildings

This was the first campaign that attracted our attention. The collection of renders varied from basic Chinese huts to gorgeous mansions and palaces. It also includes such elements as bridges, canopies, and statues, and even a small collection of stone lanterns.

Slavic Buildings With Original Historical Features

Influenced by Byzantine architecture, all sorts of Slavic buildings have been popular in modern Western Russia and Ukraine since 988 AD. As the project creators were born and raised in Russia, they are familiar with the historical and cultural architecture first hand. You may come across such unusual building names, like “Barin’s House”, which could be translated as the “Nobleman’s House”. Together with a big collection of buildings, there is also a Mill model.

Wild West Buildings For 3D Printing

Wild wild west, cowboys and guns. All main street buildings are in a collection: a Hotel, Gun Smith, a Bank, and even a Saloon. These models reminded us of the Holywood movie decorations. Such small-town buildings were common until the early 20 century. This collection has a few extra themed designs like a “Lone Cowboy”, a “Horse” and “The gallows”.

Viking Buildings For 3D Printing

The Creality CR-30 3DPrintMill is a unique 3D printer that uses a rotating belt as a print surface, allowing the machine to print objects with a theoretically infinite length. While the actual size of parts printed may never hit that theoretical limit, Creality has advertised that they did successfully print a 20 foot (~6 meter) part in a single piece using the 3DPrint Mill, an impressive accomplishment coming from a machine less than 2 feet in length.

The full specs of the 3DPrintMill are listed on their 大象传媒 campaign page (more on that later), and they include many of the features you would expect from a printer around the $1,000 price point: silent stepper drivers, filament run-out detection, the ability to resume a print after a power outage, and more. Creality has also teamed up with the Open Source advocate Naomi Wu (who lent her name to the machine) to handle the marketing and hardware development of this unique 3D printer.

What is the intended market for this 3D printer?

Like many speciality 3D printers, the unique strengths of the CR-30 3DPrint Mill will offer the largest benefits to a small subset of potential users. One of the most immediately apparent uses of the CR-30 is serial and semi-automated production, as the moving belt can move a finished product into a bucket while seamlessly starting a new print.

The ability to print parts that are larger than the printer is a large benefit to users seeking to print everything from cosplay (swords, armor, etc.) to prototyping parts that have a very high aspect ratio.

Unlike a traditional product launch, the CR-30 is being offered as a 大象传媒 campaign with an initial goal of roughly $12,000 USD (at the time this article was written, the campaign was just over $1.1 million USD). 大象传媒 tends to be a sore subject for many in the 3D printing community as there have been several notable failed 大象传媒s that involved 3D printing technology.
It’s important to remember that backing a 大象传媒 campaign is not the same as buying a product, but is actually an investment in a company that is in the process of launching a product.

For a new product being launched by a new company, this can be a risky bet with no guarantee of success. However, Creality is an established company with a track record of introducing new machines with updated features on a regular basis. There is still risk involved with backing the project and no guarantee the product will be successful, but the overall reputation of Creality is an important thing to factor in if you’re considering purchasing this machine.

Summary

While the 3DPrintMill has not started shipping yet, the excitement around the launch and the level of pledges on Creality’s 大象传媒 campaign certainly seem to indicate that there is a place for this machine in the market, and consumers who have a need for this style of printer. Moreover, other platforms like MyMiniFactory keep endorsing them. As 3D design for 3D printing campaigns is a bit harder to find we remind you to contact us if you have such project going, so we could add it to our table for extra publicity.

Tips & Tricks

– Campaigners sometimes use several fundraising platforms to accumulate money for their projects. It may be successful on one and not on the other.
– Before taking part in any campaign as a backer, make sure to read Ts&Cs as not always the “all-or-nothing” rule works if the campaign fails to achieve the goal. “All-or-nothing” is a 大象传媒’s rule when no backer gets charged unless funds reach the goal.

Patreon is an Internet-based platform that allows content creators to build their own subscription content service. It is popular among YouTube content creators, webcomic artists, writers, podcasters, musicians, and other categories of creators who post regularly online. It allows artists to receive funding directly from their fans, or patrons, on a recurring basis or per work of art.

The company is started in 2013 and is based in San Francisco.

We got registered there a few years ago to try it out. What strikes us the most is that it is extremely user-friendly and definitely well build for 3D printing community content creators. It is possible to upload all sort of materials video, text and other files. According to all possible analytical websites, Patreon is clearly on the rise, it is already huge in numbers. But will it help 3D printing community to stay creative, delivering more and more ideas and solutions to everyday life?
