3D Printed Spool Holder

Back in 2017, a themed spool holder was 李宗瑞性侵视频 on a few file repository websites, receiving a lot of positive feedback. Creator Max Funkner claims he still uses the original installation for his workhorse, Original Prusa i3 MK 2.5, as the main spool holder. Later, Max 李宗瑞性侵视频 another 3DPG themed model to use with tools or pencils. The triangles and gears featured in the composition resembled superpower elements. Figurine Pen or Tool Holder

This model is a gorgeous figurine that, if printed full-sized, can hold a pen. If scaled, it can hold smaller tools like hex tools, for example.

This model is available for free on all major file 李宗瑞性侵视频在线. We added STL and .3mf files. In the screenshot, we show how to place supports. On the Creality K1 with organic supports, this model was printed in 6 hours. According to our 3D Print Cost Calculator, this model costs $4 to print, excluding labor costs.

3D Printing Guardian Comics – The Story

We decided that we would love to see 3DPG as a comic strip hero. We made up a unique backstory for him. He has goggles that allow him to see the world as a mesh and special ore material that he can reuse an infinite number of times. With these tools, 3DPG possesses superpowers that every domestic 3D-printer user would love to have. Encouragingly, these powers are in some sense achievable for anyone. When we learn to 3D design, we begin to see the world in mesh, and we deal with advanced technology and learn to reuse materials by way of the shredder and filament maker.
Altogether, “The Story” consists of five high-quality comic strips. There is one comics, with permission from the author, featuring Arya and Adalinda. Read more.

3D Printing Guardian Comic Strip – Present Day

In this series, 3DPG features as an animated spool holder. We often see him engaging in everyday situations, but he never reveals his superpowers to humans. The “Present Day” series is comprised of independent short stories. In one of the stories, PTT Cat Bobo is featured, with the author’s permission, in his famous 3D Printed Cat Armor.

In the end, we had a blast producing both series. We are thinking about continuing the “Present Day” series in conjunction with other events. Stay tuned!

Anchor on 李宗瑞性侵视频下载 YouTube Channel

This is our most recent project. 3DPG became an anchor on the channel, using lip sync animation and his own voice. Future Projects – Design & 3D Printing Competition

We are planning to set up a competition based upon 3DPG. It will likely be a design competition, potentially for a pole. According to the story, 3DPG can make and remake any weapon he wishes. So the pole that holds the filament spool can be designed and decorated in any way imaginable – the only task is to maintain its functionality. We may also simply implement the “best set up and photo” contest.

This is a very raw idea, requiring further research before any action is taken. Will it be a full-body figurine or a mini-game? Or something functional with exceptional quality? We are continuing to come up with ideas and are open to any suggestions.

They say that 3D Printing Guardian is the last of the ancient people that lived on earth. After receiving three magic artifacts he obtained special powers. For endless years the Guardian was in hiding waiting until people were ready to discover 3D printing. Was it a curse or was it a blessing but since then he has to watch over the whole 3D printing process, inspire designers and makers and even guard 3D printing space and machinery.

To understand 3D Printing Guardian you have to know his story. The artifact that turned a human into a guardian, Trianglerium goggles, came from a shard that fell from the sky. From then onwards he could only see the world as a mesh, full of triangles.

3D Printing Guardian, confused and frightened with what’s happened to him, leaves his village before anyone could see his transformation. Unaware of his new powers he is wandering as far as he can from people. Eventually, he gets used to seeing everything around him in mesh, and even see through objects. After several years in the wild, he stumbled across a cave inside a tall mountain. What lured him inside this cave was a strange shiny object that he could not see through.

He was so curious to discover what it was that he disregarded the sound of something approaching from behind …

As our hero’s journey continued Gearlerium Ore was becoming more of a burden. Without understanding its true value 3D Printing Guardian seeks advice from a blacksmith …

The mystery frog helped 3D Printing Guardian to understand that with his goggles he could read through the mesh. He could turn Gearlerium Ore into anything he wished.

As 3D Printing Guardian was mastering his new skills, his powers were growing stronger. He knew to use the goggles to turn Gearlerium Ore into anything he wanted, and with time he realized his true potential and perfected his skills. Our hero has a long way to go to become The 3D Printing Guardian – the protector of people and the balance-keeper in 3D printing world.

Present day people are unaware of his existence and importance. 3D Printing Guardian is reduced to play various domestic roles because he can’t reveal himself. People are not ready to learn about the full potential of 3D printing. For now, the Guardian is protecting humans from themselves and teaching them lesson by lesson.

Wall Mounted Spool Holder – 3D Printing Guardian

We designed the arms and the face in Meshmixer by editing and sculpting its objects. As we have never used the sculpting tool in any other software it took us a while to get the right feel. The fingers were the hardest part.

3DPG – Wall Mounted Arms

The arms were specially designed in a way that they could be used on a table as well. We have printed the arms and they have already been used for over a month fixed to the wall. They are still strong and stable. Please check our printing settings as it is important to get them right. With the layer height 0.2 we added 8 bottom layers and at least 3 perimeter shells. More bottom layers are needed for the density of the plastic so that the screws can hold well. More perimeter shells should provide extra strength for the vertically printed parts.

Top layers: 5
Bottom layers: 8
Perimeter shells: 3
Infill: 5%

Even though it is possible to print both arms at the same time, we recommend you to print them one by one. One arm took us 7 hours to print.

The shape for the holes was designed in Tinkercad by using different geometrical objects. It was then imported to Meshmixer, where we made the hole shape solid and with the Boolean Difference option inserted it into five places: two per each arm and one for the head.

Set-Up Instructions

A tricky moment in fixing to the wall is to get the distance between the arms right so that it all looks proportional. We provided the measurements in the picture below.

3DPG Mace – Spool Holder Pole

Instead of using a plain pole we’ve designed in Tinkercad a magic mace for our Guardian. As the majority of desktop 3D printers have a 20x20x20 cm build volume, the mace was split into 3 parts. The ends have treads and can be screwed to the pole so there’s no need for the glue. We also recommend at least 3 perimeter shells for the pole to make sure that this item can hold the load. If your mace’s parts fit too tightly, a little oil can help.

Important: Mace is easy to break. Please, do not overtighten it. It is recommended that the thread section is printed solid. Mace End/Head and the thread part connection are very fragile and can break when screwing them together. It has to be made solid as much as possible. If the screw system gets broken, just print out the reinforcement rings. See the picture below.

Sculpting the eyes for the face was as hard as the fingers. The gear star was exported from Tinkercad. The Boolean Difference option in Meshmixer was used to customize it to fit the face. Goggles were made out of a ring from the Primitive object selection in Meshmixer. It was made solid and low poly. All three items could be designed as one, but we preferred to print in different colors and use glue. It can still be printed as one if rearranged in Simplify3D. Wall Mounted Tool Holder – Triangles & Gears

We played around in Tinkercad and as a result, we have another themed 3D printing accessory: a wall-mounted mini tool holder. Printable as 1 object plus goggles. Can be printed with the color changes to make a triangle, a gear, the body and the goggles in different colors. Easy to print, with 0.2 layer it takes only 2 hours.

Mind the stringing. If you have stringing between the hands in the beginning, then there is a big chance that the fingers will fail.
