If your iPhone is 12 PRO or newer, then you could try some of the LiDAR applications for such a task. Polycam became clearly the leader a few months ago as it was possible to use both LiDAR and Object Capture (photogrammetry) technologies in the same app.

I looking to scan the inside of my apartment with my apple phone, then convert it to a CAD software so I can model it. What would be the best app to accomplish that. Thanks Greg

As far as I know there are no LiDAR apps for Android phones at the moment. I would recommend uploading images via Polycam, to make the (object capture/photogrammetry) scans via the cloud.

Hi Jason. Yes, it is getting better and better. It is very convenient to use smartphone as 3D scanner or just taking pictures for photogrammetry software.
